Paul McGrail is the Executive Director & Assistant Principal for Apprenticeships, Skills & Employer Engagement at Myerscough College. With a career in Education spanning over 25 years at Myerscough, Paul has been instrumental in shaping the college's apprenticeship programs. He began his journey as a greenkeeping apprentice and later worked as a greenkeeper and golf course manager for over fifteen years before making the move into education.
Paul's dedication to education and skill development is evident in his leadership. Under his guidance, Myerscough College has received numerous accolades, including winning the Annual Apprenticeship Awards (AAC) for Provider of the year for the Land-based sector for three consecutive years.
His expertise is reinforced by his MSc in Total Quality Management & Organisational Excellence, which has fueled his passion for applying industry best practices to enhance educational programs and create outstanding learning experiences. His focus on "Careers Not Courses" and ensuring apprentices make exceptional progress has been a cornerstone of his approach. Paul's commitment to excellence and innovation in apprenticeship delivery continues to inspire both his team and the apprentices they support.
