Maureen Paul is the Interim Chief Economic Advisor at Ofgem. She is responsible for making sure that Ofgem’s decisions are supported by robust analysis, including research and internal and external expertise. Achieving real change with regards to greater diversity and inclusion is an important part of Maureen’s leadership. She chairs Ofgem’s ethnic diversity staff network and plays a core role helping the organisation improve inclusion and diversity within the organisation and broader decision-making. Before joining Ofgem, Maureen worked in the private sector and with other economic regulators. She has a PhD in economics from the University of Warwick.
