Lord Soley has been a member of the House of Commons and the House of Lords for over 40 years.

He has chaired select committees and Parliamentary Bill committees. He was a spokesman on Northern Ireland during the height of the troubles and also had front bench duties in  a variety of other departments. Lord Soley is also a member of BREXIT committees.

Lord Soley has international experience as a observer of elections in countries emerging from authoritarian rule. He still has an active involvement with Gulf states and to a lesser extent with China.

Lord Soley is an experienced public speaker with wide experience in the media.
