Freddie Huxtable

Freddie Huxtable is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser who specialises in Private Client Taxation, with special focus on UK resident but foreign nationals (“Non-Doms”) in dealing with the complex UK tax law pertinent to them.
In addition, he has researched and written a definitive history of the Taunton to Barnstaple railway line (the Devon and Somerset Railway) published in 3 volumes in 2016, 2017 and 2020. Freddie has an interest in the historical development of railways (mainly in South West England) but is also passionate about the future role of railways in the UK, whether in relation to meeting the UK zero carbon emissions target or in infrastructure development generally, whether HS2, the Northern Powerhouse Rail or Cross Rail 2 and the reopening of some Beeching-closed lines especially the connection between Okehampton and Bere Alston in Devon and Barnstaple to Ilfracombe.
