Bill Meredith
Bill Meredith has spent his career in specialist land-based education and has a particular interest in sustainable agriculture. As principal and CEO of Bishop Burton College in East Yorkshire he developed a multi-disciplinary project team which utilised the college’s 360 hectare farm and estate to showcase precision farming technologies in support of regenerative farming systems. Working in partnership with leading agri-tech companies, the college established the Centre for Precision Agriculture at Bishop Burton and the Centre for Agri-Food Technology at Riseholme College near Lincoln. As a partner in two regional Institutes of Technology, the college plays a pivotal role in the supply of highly skilled new entrants to the agricultural industry.
