Tom O'Brien comments on Creative Collaboration

One of the main aims of Intelligence Forums is to bring businesses from across the UK together and facilitate collaborations that drive regional growth. One of these collaborations would not have happened, had it not been for the excellent IF Northern Forum, hosted 0n 20th March at the fantastic Fazenda Rodizio Bar & Grill in Leeds City Centre’s stunning Granary Wharf commercial complex. One of our newer members, content writer Tom O’Brien from TOMWROTEIT - see what he did there - was looking to combine his blogs with exceptional graphic design. His aim was to create content that would stand out from the endless posts which flood our social media feeds on an almost hourly basis.

Hoping to create an innovative collaboration between Leeds and Birmingham, he decided to get on a train and find a perfect collaborator at IF’s Northern Forums, given that at least 50 of the region’s most successful businesses regularly attend these monthly networking events.

Unsurprisingly, while attending the forum, Tom was introduced to Abigail and Chloe Baldwin, whose award-winning graphic design agency, Buttercrumble, has worked with organisations such asJohn Lewisand Leeds City Council.

At the resulting meeting a few weeks later, a creative collaboration was formed and not one, but two new products were created. These products can be summarised as:

Illustrative Blog Content - A completely bespoke spot illustration is the perfect accompaniment to one of these researched, thought-provoking blogs. How many times have you scrolled past blogs which were accompanied by the same generic stock image of three people sat around a desk? It will also provide your clients with quick and easy access to the information that they need to know to enjoy a positive and ultimately, a profitable day in the office, after interacting with your social media pages and website.
